Developing people. Building capability. Creating impact.
AL Insights works at the intersection of people development, entrepreneurship, higher education and organisational learning — for almost fifteen years, mainly in emerging markets.
Our story
Scaling people
We began working with entrepreneurs and the incubators around them, mostly in emerging markets, at a point when capability support was scarce and largely imported. Fifteen years later the work spans management development inside multinationals, employability programmes with international institutions, and entrepreneurship support inside universities.
What has not changed is the conviction underneath it: growth is limited less often by capital or ideas than by whether people have been given the chance to build judgement on real work.

Founder
Dr Mohamed Yacine
Founder and Managing Associate of AL Insights Ltd and Founder of WIAL Algeria. Mohamed Yacine works across the line between practice and research: facilitating Action Learning inside organisations, teaching and supervising at postgraduate level, and publishing on how learning does and does not travel from a set into the organisation around it.
His work has spanned enterprise development and business incubation, management and leadership development, and the design of experiential and game-based learning for corporate and academic clients.
Learning becomes valuable at the point where it changes what people are able to see, question and do.
Start with the problem, not the programme.
Tell us what you are trying to change, develop or improve. We will help you identify the capability, the programme or the intervention that fits the problem — and say so plainly if what you need is not a programme at all.
